The management of IntraWorlds consists of the four founders, who established the company during their studies in 2002.

| Jens Bender is responsible for marketing, public relations and partnerships. Moreover, he accompanied numerous projects in implementing and expanding social communities. He studied Business Administration at the WHU Otto Beisheim Graduate School of Management in Koblenz (Germany), in Sweden and in Canada. During his studies he focused on marketing, controlling and operations. After passing his studies he worked as management consultant for Oliver Wyman Consulting. There Jens Bender worked on customer retention, sales increase and process optimization projects for global enterprises in the automotive, logistics, and financial services industries. |
| Benjamin Elixmann leads IntraWorlds’ product development and is CEO of our Czech subsidiary IntraWorlds sro. He also accompanied many implementation and development projects in the area of social communities. Furthermore he is in charge of ensuring that the future development of the online platform incorporates recent trends and customer requirements. Benjamin Elixmann studied Business Administration at the WHU in Koblenz (Germany) and at the Humboldt-University in Berlin (Germany). Additionally, he spent two semesters abroad in Hungary and Canada, which were amongst others promoted by the Haniel-Foundation. He has a longtime professional experience in the range of technology development. | |
| Dr. Martin Heibel heads sales and internationalization at IntraWorlds. He supports corporations and mid-size businesses at the implementation of their social community and enterprise collaboration projects. Dr. Martin Heibel studied Business Administration at the WHU in Koblenz (Germany). During his studies he received a scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation. He wrote his dissertation on business formation as a research assistant at the LMU Entrepreneurship Centre of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (Germany) and as a DAAD-scholarship student and visiting researcher at the Harvard Business School in Boston. | |
| Stephan Herrlich is responsible for finance and customer support. He oversees the quality of implementation projects and the operation of IntraWorlds’ communities for our customers. Before he co-founded IntraWorlds, he worked on international projects at the management consultancy Bain & Company. There he created concepts for privately held companies and for growth strategies. Stephan Herrlich studied Business Administration at the WHU in Koblenz (Germany). During his studies he mainly focused on operations, controlling and finance. |
The IntraWorlds advisory board consists of five members plus the management team. The advisory board supports the IntraWorlds management in the sustainable development of the company and the alignment with customer requirements.
