Renowned as the largest book fair in the world, the Frankfurt Book Fair not only provided a spectacle for the numerous visitors, but simultaneously a platform for professional networking and discourse within the literary industries. Attracting over 290,000 visitors, more than 7,300 exhibitors originating from more than 100 countries, the events and activities brought together many people with an array of academic, professional and recreational motives.

Present, on behalf of IntraWorlds, was a strong team of four representatives led by the Director Customer Solutions, Dr. Christoph Herrlich. The team at the fair was very busy with scheduled and unscheduled appointments, in addition to the several informal chats and discussions. Conversations and meetings at the book fair proved thoroughly fruitful, with existing relations being sustained and new contacts being created. Having met with over a large variety of representatives and having given numerous presentations, our network has been subsequently expanded enabling us to work towards developing and consulting with many more companies within this industry regarding online social networking solutions.
