FH Vorarlberg creates a social network for its alumni - 2010-01-21

FH Vorarlberg chooses IntraWorlds community software to connect its alumni

On March 31st, 2010 the online community of FH Vorarlberg will be launched together with IntraWorlds.  With this new social network, the alumni of the University of Applied Sciences will be able to continuously stay in touch with their former university as well with the former fellow students. To make this happen, the alumni network will offer a broad set of features to the administration and the alumni. The career services will use the integrated career module of the software to publish new career offers from partners. The organization of regional events as well as meetings at the university will be organized with the event module. Furthermore, membership fees of the alumni will be managed through the payment management of the IntrAlumni software – reducing administrational effort for the staff and simplifying the arrangement of reunions.

The FH Vorarlberg is located where the four countries Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein meet. The location is very attractive for younger students as well as for older ones as the university is surrounded by the Alps. Moreover, the university has a high standard in its extra-occupational education.  Students have the opportunity to choose between the specializations technology, business administration, design and social work. A research center is also part of the campus.
